Zusammenfassung
Die Indikation zur Silikonölimplantation waren persistierende Traktionsamotio, intraoperativ
nicht beherrschbare und postoperativ rezidivierende massive Blutungen. Die Silikonölimplantation
wurde immer mit einer möglichst vollständigen Vitrektomie und Chirurgie epiretinaler
Membranen kombiniert. Von den 16 Augen mit proliferativer diabetischer Retinopathie,
in die Silikonöl implantiert wurde, lag die Netzhaut postoperativ bei 9 Augen an,
bei 7 Augen ergab sich ein verbessertes Orientierungssehen.
Summary
The indications for injection of silicone oil were tractional retinal detachment which
was otherwise incurable and massive hemorrhages into the vitreous cavity during the
operation or postoperatively. The injection of the oil was combined with a vitrectomy
and removal of epiretinal membranes as completely as possible. Of the 16 eyes with
proliferative diabetic retinopathy operated on with silicone oil, the retina reattached
in 9 eyes and 7 eyes had useful orientation vision.
